individual 1:1 coaching

Individual coaching is the most individualized and customized program. Clients meet for one-on-one sessions every other week for six months (a total of 12 sessions).

process:

Potential clients schedule a health history that encompasses questions about their current health state, their past health challenges and behaviors, an overview of their family history, and goals that they hope to achieve.

If we are a good fit and both agree to pursue a coaching relationship, we will set up a designated and consistent time slot to meet (virtually or in person). You will submit your one-month, three-month, and six-month goals, and I will create a customized and individualized research-backed program tailored to you and your needs.

What does a coaching session look like?

I will ask you questions that focus on the areas that surround your goals - this often includes general check-up questions (for example: how your quality and duration of sleep is, your current stress levels, whether or not you are currently experiencing any pain, your movement and exercise over the last couple weeks, and questions about your food and water intake) and then more targeted questions about specific goals that had been discussed in prior sessions. We will troubleshoot any areas of difficulty, and I will guide you to available solutions. We will go over current goals and establish a specific plan to practice one or two new habits over the upcoming two weeks. I will answer any questions you may have about the session or generally, and we will confirm our next meeting.

coaching program fees

Individual 1:1 coaching: $350/month for 6 months, paid on the odd numbered sessions.

Couples coaching: $600/month for 6 months, paid on the odd numbered sessions.

Group coaching: $100/month for 6 months, paid on the odd numbered sessions.

Couples coaching

Couples coaching is offered for two partnered individuals who seek to make positive change together. Couples coaching has high levels of success because while you may be working on your individual goals, there is motivation through a positive environment, and a shared desire for achieving goals and positive sustainable change. Couples coaching offers a discounted rate compared to the cost of two individual six month programs.

group coaching

Group coaching is more general in nature, but groups of 5 to 8 are gathered based on similar issues or goals. Group coaching fees are less than individual and couples coaching while having the benefit of support and connection from other group members. Potential group coaching members submit an application in order to be properly placed in upcoming groups.

how will we meet?

I meet with clients in person (if they are local to the metro-Detroit area), or virtually, whatever is preferred. We will establish a scheduled time that will be reserved for you every other week.

who are the best candidates for coaching?

I seek to work with individuals who are highly motivated to take action for change in their lives, who are sick of their own excuses, and who want to level up and fully embrace who they are destined to be.

What are some of the biggest benefits in working with a coach ?

It is highly likely that you may have some level of health education. There are some things that you know that you ought to be doing for your health - things that would help you reduce stress in your life, or things that would increase your general wellness, but for whatever reason - you are not doing them. Coaching brings a level of direction, motivation, accountability, professional insight, and acts as a sounding board for what you are going through in real time.

Yes. Group coaching is more general in nature, but groups are gathered based on similar goals. Group coaching fees are less than individual and couples coaching programs while offering an added benefit of the support of other members. Group coaching has between 5 and 8 individuals. WHat is the duration of our sessions?

why is the coaching program 6 months?

Anyone can do anything for a few days, a couple weeks, or a month, and they may see drastic changes. Unfortunately, after that time, many (if not most) people revert to the patterns and behaviors that they were practicing before they began. The coaching program lasts 6 months in order to establish sustainable lifestyle changes and to give us time to go through ups and downs and the things of life together. It is my desire for my clients to be able to use what they learn in their program to benefit them for the rest of their lives.

Do you do couples coaching?

Yes. In fact, there are great benefits to you and your partner both being onboard, reaching for goals together. There is a slightly discounted rate for couples - it is less than the cost of two individual programs.
